This year's Blue Plum Festival is cancelled.
Originally scheduled for June 5-6, event organizers decided this week to nix this year's festival due to concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.
Organizers posted this statement on the Downtown Johnson City Facebook page:
"We are so sad to share that downtown Johnson City’s, Blue Plum Festival, scheduled for June 5-6, has now been cancelled. Due to the uncertainties of COVID-19, this was a hard, but thoughtful decision. We hope that everyone is remaining at home and safe, in hopes that we can enjoy a healthy summer together."
